little drabbles
Jun. 10th, 2014 11:41 amlittle bits of drabbles from fics that are eyeing my ankles
Naruto/Poke'mon [yes, I'm in fandom hell!]:
Hinata smiled at Itachi as she made her way from the center. "Hey, Itachi, how goes your training?" she asked. It was common knowledge that he had a furret that kept getting into all sorts of trouble. Privately, she wondered if introducing her new eevee, Sachiko, would be just the thing to calm down the furret.
The small eevee poked her head out of Hinata's pocket. "Ee?" she chirped, leaping out and tumbling, landing at Itachi's feet. She shook her fur and licked her right front paw and quietly began to groom. "Eevee," she murmured once she was properly set again. Her blue eyes (an unexpected trait that this eevee had, unlike the others who had the proper brown eyes) took in the trainer before leaping up and examining the pokeball. She nosed it and gave a startled "Ee!" when it popped open, revealing the furret.
Monster High:
Operetta blew her red bangs off her forehead and glanced over at Cleo. "Sugar," she began in her Southern/French drawl. "You okay? You look like someone just dug up.." She paused and thought better of her statement - after all, Cleo was the daughter of the Mummy. "Okay, perhaps that wasn't my best turn of a phrase," she corrected herself before continuing. "But, Sugar, you do look dreadful. Did something happen between you and Deuce?"
Sailor Moon:
AN: set slightly before Mamoru and Usagi discover each other's secret identities [OC, mine]
Selene pulled a handful of her long silvery hair over her shoulder, and began to absently braid it as she listened to Serenity (Usagi, her mind instantly corrected. Her younger sister was called Usagi in this life) to argue with the young man in front of her (Endymion, no, Mamoru, she corrected herself. He always seemed to push her younger sister's buttons - of course, that was before they fell in passionate forbidden love). She gave a small sigh and rolled her eyes. "When you two are done with your foreplay, let me know, will you?" she asked, not bothering to look at the pair, not seeing the look of shock on both their features. "That way I know that I have to leave because the last thing I want to see is you two doing that."
She sighed softly, her gaze distant when she finally did glance at the now silent pair. She lowered her gaze again, feeling more at a loss then she ever did. All the stars were aligning (as her guardian, Nephrite, would have said. Goddess, she missed that particular guardian - he was like the brother she never had, always siding with her when she needed it) - just into a pattern she wasn't sure of any more (or any less for that matter). A single tear slid down her cheek as she remembered.
