another Star Darling done
Jan. 13th, 2016 09:34 pmI'll take a cap of Clover from my gallery later - but that's one more darling down. Just have to do Adora, Astra, and Leona. And maybe one or two more professors and possibly a group image or two. Yay for addictive cross-stitch
Then I may attempt a few Ever After High images. [yay again for being able to upload images to work from so I have a serious collection of fandom patterns] I'll also take a cap of the Peri and Pearl from Monster High cross-stitch I did
And then I can get back to Star Wars [my focus is Padme/Anakin <3] Maybe another few Mystic Knights images as well
Then I may attempt a few Ever After High images. [yay again for being able to upload images to work from so I have a serious collection of fandom patterns] I'll also take a cap of the Peri and Pearl from Monster High cross-stitch I did

So, in all my brilliance, I decided I was going to do a set of all 12 Star Darlings. Piper was all right [just too much blasted eye-searing aqua]. Libby and Sage, no problem - I hate neither pink or purple. Tessa wasn't as bad as Piper since there was blue to break up the aqua. But what the hell was I thinking with Gemma? That yellow is killing my eyes. I'm already dreading Leona...

Nice Christmas haul
Dec. 26th, 2015 07:07 pmGot two Ever After High dolls [Dragon Games Darling and Sig Rosabella] and a couple of gift cards from my parents and a huge set of art supplies from my little brother [three of the pieces were Copic pens - a grey, a green, and a black. I'm over the moon with that since those pens are items I've wanted for a long time but could never afford]
