the big 4-1 today (or as we sometimes jokingly flip numbers, the big 1-4, heh)

Today was a very chill day

I got a basket of flowers from my parents and two $100 gift cards (one for Amazon, one for Google Play)

Dinner was stuffed sole with crabmeat from a local restaurant (which is to die for) and a slice of chocolate cake (which is a little slice of heaven)

Happy birthday! Hope the air was a little better. We've got a touch of it here and I've had a headache all day.

And yeah, the air's starting to get a bit better (no more looking like we're in a horror movie with the amount of smoke that had been in the air. My mother took a couple of pictures at one point, and it looked like we had Krypton's red sun going on) - but we're still under an air quality alert (code orange) until midnight. Thankfully, they're saying it should be starting to get better when the storm comes through
