the bit that caught my eye is Odin judges Mjollnir the best gift, thus making Loki's head up for grabs, except Loki counters that he never said the dwarves could have his eyes, throat, mouth, etc. In retaliation, they make him unable to open his mouth for a day.

I'm wondering how child-friendly they made it - considering in the myth proper, Loki had his mouth sewn shut

(And I did a wee bit of research - apparently, him being handsy with Sif does have some basis in mythology. In the Prose Edda - Loki's Quarrel - he not too subtly hints to Sif that she had a lover besides Thor, namely him, and she doesn't deny it

He's not sexy handsy, he's abusive handsy. Not the best message for girls to read, about a boy grabbing a girl with no consequences.
