The rooster boy is ridiculous-looking, but his pet is darling. The cat girl I think is really pretty. Not unique, but points for being clearly Latina.

agreed on Redward (not to mention that ridiculous name - yeesh) - cute pet, human companion, not so much.

I agree on Siesta being pretty - I just wish her skintone was a bit more striking.
