Peak gulped as he stared up at the mutant before him. Of all the times to run into one, it would be the time that his partner, Ilona, would be unconscious [he hoped it wasn't a bad injury - she was the medic]. He couldn't retreat - not without leaving his partner exposed [and especially since he didn't know where Fryte was either]. He raised the wrist blaster [knowing it wouldn't work - it had been broken during the fight, the fall] and aimed it at the mutant.

Attor merely sighed, scooping up the injured girl, making sure not to jostle her. "Well, come on," he sighed. "It'll be dark soon and you don't want to really be out then."

Peak wanted to protest, but the mutant had a damn good point. He sighed quietly and lowered his weapon. "Lead the way."

Attor nodded and walked, trying to keep a pace that the human wouldn't find difficult. He made note that human females were infinitely more fragile then their male counterparts. "How?"

"Fryte targeted her since she's a healer," Peak said, bitterness escaping in his voice. "I thought you mutants wouldn't target non-combantants."

Attor was quiet. "Fryte will be punished, I promise you."

So Ilona got over her fear of heights or was Fryte using her as a shield?

Ilona's fear of heights just became very justified [one of the other dragonators thought it would be a brilliant idea to have Ilona learn how to fly - even if she kept protesting/freaking out about the whole thing] - and Fryte did use her as a shield during the fight

Attor's going to have fun - that's all I'l say about what's going to happen to Fryte

I just need to think of a way for that to be triggered. I'm debating as well if Ilona has a mild freak-out at seeing him since well, she was unconcious when he met her

A freak out would be understandable. She doesn't know that Attor helped them and I don't think she knows that he's Z'neth yet.

exactly - and especially since she was still young when Z'neth was taken by Dread Wing so she's never met him

[this was the crack one I had told you about where Nocturna kidnapped Z as a babe and Dread Wing was all 'well, this is all well and good but what am I supposed to do with this?']
