Last year's catalog was much stronger for me. This one doesn't have hardly any color variety. I favor more unusual bears in different colors, but this year, it's all gray, brown, black, white, over and over.
I put myself down for the chimp and orangutan, the dragon (though I'm not sold on her at all, I need real pics), one of the bunnies (Woodland, the brown one, also not 100% sold), and Trudy. I also asked for Midsomer, the pink pixie Minimo, and Botticelli, the purple and white panda mohair. I've never done any mohair before, so I might not be able to get Botticelli, but I should get Midsomer, since she's LE1200 and not only LE500 like Botticelli. I adore Joan, which is my mom's name, but at $440 with a smaller run and she's already super popular, I can't do it.
There isn't one I'm really itching for though, not like last year. So this year, I'm going to concentrate on picking up everyone I liked that I haven't gotten yet, like Clancy and Chuck from the 2016 collection and my Scarecrow that I've been wanting.
yeah, I did notice there was a lot of the same color scheme in this year's batch.
I liked Georgina (the light brown panda, pg18), Annabelle, Lazarus, Twig (which is more something my mother would like since that's her favorite species), Odette (although why they paired her with the Nutcracker, I'd love to understand), totally see the appeal of Botticelli, Bluebell, the grey of Clockwork & Teacup.
