Z'neth sighed quietly, his eyes darting to the small bowl of chocolates that Ilona kept on her desk and then up at his wife. They had been having the same argument for hours now and it was starting to get annoying. Okay, he honestly could understand the fact that she really didn't want to go to that party that one of the other dragonators was hosting [especially since said female dragonator had been claiming he was her boyfriend - even if it was common knowledge that Z'neth and Ilona had some sort of relationship that no-one quite knew how to define]. He sighed and knowing he was risking her irritation, quietly popped one of the chocolates in her mouth.
Ilona merely glared at him as she quietly at the chocolate. Did he really have to exploit her weakness for chocolate in order to win the argument?
"Now that I can get a word in edgewise," he said, knowing he'd be sleeping on the sofa for that. "I was trying to tell you that we were not attending the party," he said. "I rather have a quiet night in with my wife then attend a party where I had to dodge Miss Grabby Hands."
Ilona swallowed the chocolate and looked at him. "Why didn't you just say that in the first place instead of drawing it out?" she huffed.
