I'm thinking Summit's the same age as Attor and age the others down accordingly, bar Dram since he's adopted so he'd be older? Maybe 20ish for Dram?

Well, if we do that, then Apex would be 15 and Peak would be at least 7. 20 works for Dram.

That works - and it could explain why later on Attor feels the most protective of Peak since he could be viewing Peak as what Pythius could have been had he lived. Unf, the angst with that

And yep! Which actually brings us to an interesting issue: Being so young, Peak has a high chance of being Attor's lone friend, at least at first. Yes, he'd probably be against him on general principle but as he grew up, especially with Attor being protective of him, Peak would grow to trust him more than other humans would.

So really, the only way *now* for Peak to actively hate Attor would be if someone actively and frequently turned Peak against him. The easiest option would be a family figure, especially if they're parental, but as Aaron and Iranda clearly accept Attor, that's a no go. Societal pressure is another thing, but Aaron and Iranda can counter that at home, especially with Attor's help.

As for Summit, Apex and Dram, well, they're old enough to have to work through it themselves at this rate.
