so, the Winx Club posted a small video for the most romantic couple - and surprisingly, it's not Bloom/Sky. [I'll let you all restart your hearts now]

It's Flora/Helia.

So, yet another new art style for S8 of Winx (it's ugly as hell) but shocker - Valtor is back. How, just how?

I love this exchange a friend and I had as an OC and Phobos from the previously mentioned Winx/W.I.T.C.H./Sailor Moon chaotic thing we did

(for context, her parents are assholes and she was venting to Phobos, who commented that he didn't have a problem with his parents..)

OC: "The thought has been tempting."
Phobos: "Only tempting?"
OC: "Guardians are supposed to be well behaved."
Phobos: "So are princes."
OC: "Point well taken."

I'm in shock, Bloom isn't the Chosen hero for season 2 of World of Winx. Peter Pan is. Because of course. I'll give points for Tink having an interesting design. Edit - correction: Peter Pan's son. ....what the hell...?

Now I have a third story for the Dented Shield universe - Gladio self-branding himself out of misplaced guilt for Noct's death, even if he knew it had to happen - he still failed to protect his prince. Damn it, I didn't need that image..)

I can imagine the reactions of the people who read Dented Shield - "what the fuck, this woman normally writes fluff?"

so, the official Winx Club FB page revealed the Dreamix look. I think the only part I like about it is the wings - it's too busy and what the hell is up with drapery..?

bar any surprises, what I hope to get done today or tomorrow

1. capping Hero of the Month: Frost to make icons for a friend - and capped. Just have to burn them to a disc later


2. getting back to capping Piping Hot Beats to make icons for same friend as above


3. cap a bit of LoSH: Timber Wolf -  done. French episode for the win. (Now if I could find it in English...)


4. cap something Monster High since it's been ages since I capped that (suggestions from friends are welcome!)


5. maybe cap some Winx Club? I haven't had a Flora icon in rotation in how long...?

So, the drawing program I downloaded updated the Winx tutorial - gone are the lessons on how to draw two of the Trix, all the boys that aren't Sky, Valtor, Diaspro..

Now it's just the Winx - portraits and Butterflix, Daphne, Roxy in Believix and Sky. Sigh..

and a Winx bunny just started to gnaw on my ankle as I watch the teaser for the fairy animals. Shut up, brain, I don't need a bunny where the boys are transformed into the fairy animals [because Stella's bird strikes me as being female and yeah, that won't work..] I have no idea what spawned it - other than I'm not feeling well and those bunnies usually end up as being twisted.
