a gargoyles thing
Aug. 12th, 2015 11:35 amAN: now, for this to make a lick of sense, I draw your attention over here - scroll down to "Princess and the Frog - 2009", then scroll down further to "Gargoyles - 1996".
Elisa settled down on the sofa, hugging a pillow to her chest as she and Alexander watched "The Princess and the Frog" for what had to have been the hundredth time that month. She personally was at the point of wanting to make frogs' legs out of both male and female lead when she noticed that Alexander was staring at the screen, with a confused expression on his face. "Something wrong, kiddo?" she asked.
"I think so," Alexander said slowly. "I can't help but think I've heard the bad guy's voice before."
Elisa arched an eyebrow slightly before she turned her attention back to the movie. Oh, wonderful, what a time to return to paying attention - that creepy scene towards the end. And once more she was quite pleased that Avalon [in all its wisdom] never thought they needed to be *there*. Well, maybe if she paid attention to this scene she could help Alexander figure out why it sounded so familiar.
"Now you will spend the rest of your life as a slimy little frog. Mwhaha.."
"Is it just me or did that sound like..?" Elisa started, looking at Alexander.
Alexander slowly nodded.
Elisa smothered a groan. Wonderful. Thailog was now doing voice over work - had to be the only explanation as why the Shadowman sounded exactly like a Cajun Goliath.
