Comic blather
May. 3rd, 2014 09:53 pmso, picked up the most recent issue of He-Man - and I have never wanted to write a fix-fic more than ever. On one hand, I knew it was going to happen given the character's bloodline but on the other, I wasn't ready for my ship to die like that. Not to mention the reveal a few issues prior regarding Randor. Ugh! I could have done without that, kthnx. Also, my mother caught sight of the cover and that was an interesting conversation regarding one of the figures on it
but on the bright side, She-Ra's finally returning! #13 is going to be an origin issue for her and the Greyskull bloodline
Also picked up the last issue of the DC vs MotU crossover [I'll pick up the missing issues later. The final battle was more appealing] - the fights were epic in that issue. And we also found out why the Queen's on Earth and not on Eternia like the rest of the family.
I'll confess to being disappointed that I couldn't get a copy of Steam Wars at Free Comic Book Day - that wasn't an issue my store got but I got Guardians of the Galaxy [which is 3-in-1] and the Power Rangers [yeah, none of the characters looked accurate at all but it was adorable. Yep, the nostalgia filter is strong with that comic
