Revision of this
Peak returned to his private study and sat back down at his desk. He picked up his quill again and began to write again. He sighed softly, setting the quill down for a moment. It wasn't easy to write about the curses nor of the impact they had on the family. He picked the quill back up, tapping the feathered end against his lower lip before he started to write again. His curse had been quite mild compared to the others, a 'sleeping beauty' style curse [which caused quite a bit of embarrassment when it had been revealed that Dread from the kingdom of Warnado had been the one to give him the kiss to awaken him. He supposed he really should have told his father that he and Prince Dread had been ..um.. courting for a while]
Apex's curse still lingered but she was using it to her clear advantage - especially in the game of politics [which both their father and elder brother appreciated]. Both Father and Mother had been cursed as well - and needless to say, Father still got an odd twitch whenever he spotted a mirror. Mother never did say what her curse was - just that she had one and that it had been broken. Summit as well never really spoke on his curse, just that it was embarrassing. [Of course, Summit didn't count on Nora spilling the beans to her future brother-in-law, informing the youngest that Summit had been turned into a frog - which did explain why Summit refused to touch the frog legs that they had for dinner the other night..]
He set his quill down for a moment, getting lost in thought of his elder brother's curse and the whole obnoxious reason behind it. He supposed the only good thing that came out of it, bar his older brother's future bride, was that it damn well mellowed him.
