I'm working on scanning the issues [13/14 are up - 15 is next and I think I have 12 sitting close at hand] - Do you want the micro [6 issues only] series or just the main series?

"Why do we have to keep things a secret?" Cheetara asked as she leaned against the shoulder of the orange skinned tiger prince. "We've done nothing that should make us have to hide."

Tygra let out a small wearied sigh. "We may not have done something but I'm not the only prince that has feelings for you, Cheetara," he said. He did want their relationship out in the open but it was too risky - not when Lion-O also had feelings for Cheetara and Tygra knew that his little brother, his lord [and that thought still rankled], depended on Cheetara and for him to find out..

She gave a tiny sigh. "All right, I see you're point. I don't like it though."

It's really cute!

I do find it hilarious that Tygra says another prince. Not someone else or my brother.

thank you - I really had to dig deep for those Thunderian muses [gah, it's been a while since I had them out. I think my Pumyra's blinking at the sudden exposure of daylight in that sector]

"You know, while we're alone, Drake, we could kiss," Gwen said, swinging her legs back and forth as she sat on the branch next to him. It was a lazy day and Drake had managed to talk her into accompanying him on some little run - which ended up somehow with the pair up in a tree.

Drake wasn't quite catching the hint quick enough before Gwen took matters into her own hands. She tapped him on the shoulder before stealing a kiss from him.

"Okay," Sky said, bending down a bit. "Put your arm around me, I'll help you walk," he said.

"I can walk fine on my," Christine started, before letting out a loud hiss of pain.

"You were saying," Sky returned dryly, before deciding to scoop her up into his arms. A frown etched across his features as he noticed how ..delicate.. she was.

"Whatever you're thinking, don't even start," Christine threatened.

Sky just hmm'ed. Well, at least it was just her leg that was injured and not something more serious.

Mali wiped the sweat off her brow as she moved through the tent, her eyes studying each of the wounded warriors. Curse this war to the pit, she thought bitterly as she stared at the broken bodies of men she knew. She wasn't sure who she blamed more at this moment - Strongheart for refusing her or Ravenwaves for not understanding that no matter what that Strongheart just would not love her.

Her eyes alighted on a figure and a sick feeling overtook her for a moment before she made her way over. Could that be? Yes, it was. The horrible realization that the pride of their village, Jules D'Argon, was there amongst the wounded made her feel ill and more then a little angry at the prince for his utter stupidity.

She wasn't moving faster, really. She found herself before she knew at his bedside and she was settled on the edge of his bed. "Jules?" she whispered.

Jules opened his eyes slowly, staring up into the eyes of Mali. "Ain't you a sight for sore eyes," he said, trying to sit up and finding he couldn't. He bit back an oath.

"Listen to me," Mali said, "you're going to be fine. It's just a little set back. You'll heal," she continued, sounding more confident then she felt.

Neither of them noticed the grey dog in the shadows that looked devastated that his best friend had been injured and he had been unable to do anything about it.

"Hold on to me," He-Man said as he reached for the fragile form of the youngest child of the Sorceress. "Hold on to me and don't let go," he continued, his voice firm.

The small female nodded and wrapped her arms around his neck. The feathers of her long mantle were shredded, stained - unsuitable for flight. She trembled a little, afraid.

He-Man had to wonder how long she had been trapped in that cell of his.. uncle's.. and found himself not truly wanting to know - he didn't want another reason to get rid of his uncle, he already had more than enough. He glanced over his shoulder to make sure she was truly there - she was so light that he thought she wasn't there more than once. "You hanging on back there?"

A soft bird chirp was all he got as a response.

He-Man chuckled softly. "All right, Little Bird," he said affectionately, "I'll get you back to your nest."

She wrinkled her nose but said nothing, just clung tighter.
