Werewolf'verse: Prompt: Winter
Nov. 26th, 2013 11:29 amIlona settled at her desk, opening her diary to a fresh page. She picked up her calligraphy pen [a blue one that Z'neth had given to her for a present three years prior] and slowly began to write. Her eyes would occassionally dart up to look out the window at the winter's sky and sighed softly. Well, she knew she should be used to this - Z'neth always tended to get anal about his driving, especially when it came to winter and the fact that the weatherman had been claiming that the sky was threatening snow [of course, the weatherman had been claiming that for the past six days and all they had gotten so far was just barely an inch, a mere dusting] She sighed softly and returned to her writing. Just a few more lines and then she'd get up and get dinner started. Now, what would be perfect tonight? It was nearing their anniversary [well, the anniversary of their engagement - which also coinsided with her birthday] so she should start planning for that but, she sighed. She had no idea what she was going to do that year.
She lightly sighed and returned to writing - all the while trying to ignore the growing pit of worry. She closed her book and stood, quietly making her way over to the window. "Oh, Z'neth," she whispered.
